The cemetery is in a fenced area behind a locked gate with a mean dog inside of the cemetery- the dog belongs to the man next door at 3972 Cove St. John. The dog goes under his fence to get in the cemetery. I was told by neighbors that he is the one who put the fence up and denies access

This is close to Mayport- which is an old but still active shrimping industry. You’ll see a few stones that are ’lost at sea’. The cemetery was founded by Ephraim and Susannah Tillotson in 1883. It is very well kept.

On Beach Blvd. you’ll turn onto Girvin Rd. Go past the landfill on the right and the cemetery is just down on the right, it’s on the corner of Girvin and Singleton St.
